Suspected Filipino gunmen kidnapped a fish farm caretaker and a worker in a predawn attack Monday in eastern Malaysia, police said.
An undetermined number of suspects before broke into the fish farm in Kunak town in the state of Sabah, about 1,840 kilometres east of Kuala Lumpur, and seized the manager, Chan Sai Chiun, 32 and a worker identified only as Mazlan.
Recently Abu Sayyaf gunmen seized a Chinese national who also manages a fish farm in nearby Lahad Datu district.
