KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 20 – Despite being in Pakatan Rakyat for five years, PAS has been marginalised and manipulated by DAP and PKR as if the party is not a member of the opposition coalition.
Former Selangor PAS Commissioner Datuk Dr Hasan Mohamed Ali(Pic) said this was evident with various issues which PAS lost such as the usage of the word Allah, deferring enforcement of hair saloon licensing in Kelantan, the cancellation of entertainment centres by the Kedah state government, hudud law, apostasy and Islamic state.
“The voice of PAS was completely drowned in the formulation and direction of policies of Pakatan Rakyat found in the Orange Book where issues including empowering the Malays is not addressed,” he said in a statement today.
Hasan who is the president of Pertubuhan Jalur Tiga (Jati) said DAP is capitalising on the PAS weakness by propogating its own philosophy in the coalition.
