New Delhi, October 30 – A teacher in Chennai has been asked to pay a fine of Rs.50,000 for pinching a student’s cheeks.
The boy studying at Kesari Higher Secondary School had accused his teacher of pinching his cheeks to punish him.
In a report published in the Times Of India, the boy’s mother complained about the matter and the school was asked to pay a fine of Rs.1,000 by the state human rights commission.
However, when the mother approached the school for her son’s TC, the matter was further delayed and she was harassed. So, she decided to take up the matter to the High Court which on Thursday asked the teacher to pay a fine of Rs.50,000.
