New Delhi, February 18 – Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and BJP leader Kiran Bedi may have fought a bitter electoral battle but the two leaders on Tuesday exchanged pleasantries and engaged in a brief conversation at a function in New Delhi.
At the At-Home reception hosted by Delhi Police Commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi, Bedi sat next to Chief Minister Kejriwal. The AAP leader first warmly greeted her following which they engaged in a brief conversation. Later Bedi said she enquired about his health and asked him to take proper care.
The reception was attended by President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Kejriwal had met the President, Prime Minister and the Home Minister after winning the elections.
Modi and Singh were also seen talking to Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Kejriwal was the centre of attraction at the event mingling with the guests and exchanging greetings.
Many people were seen requesting for photographs with the AAP leader and he obliged everybody with a smile. A number of guests complimented him for the spectacular victory and wished him to live up to peoples’ expectations.
