Kuala Lumpur, May 13 – Confusion and conflicting reports emerged in MIC with the announcement yesterday that the court has granted an interim injunction against the 2009 CWC.
Some claimed that the interim injunction granted by the court yesterday is only until 27th of May and does not validate the 2013 CWC in anyway. The High Court also announced that it will pronounce its judgement on the 27th of May.
However, MIC President Dato Seri G.Palanivel in a text message to the MIC branch chairmen yesterday declared that the court has decided that 2013 CWC can conduct CWC meetings.
Amidst such conflicting reports MIC Vice-President and Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Datuk M.Saravanan has called for a press conference today to clarify the court ruling.
The press conference is scheduled to take place at MIC Headquarters at 12.00 pm noon.
