Thailand, Feb 26 – Caretaker Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, reiterated that she is ready to discuss a way out with all parties, Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.

She made the remarks during her visit to a local community product centre here in the central region on Monday.

Yingluck stressed that she is ready for such discussions and said that she would perform her duties at her best until the end of her tenure.

In response to anti-government protest leaders’ allegation that her caretaker government had caused violent incidents at their demonstration venues, Yingluck said the attacks were shocking and she had ordered the police to arrest the culprits, and urged all parties to stop violent movements.

Yingluck also expressed concern over a recent ruling of Bangkok’s Civil Court on the imposition of the emergency decree, which has obstructed the work of authorities.

Last week, the Civil Court prohibited the caretaker government from citing the emergency decree as a reason to disperse demonstrators.

The caretaker prime minister also called for an immediate negotiation to reach a suitable solution.

On protesters’ pressure on her and Shinawatra family’s businesses, Yingluck said that she remains in office to protect democracy and pointed out her resignation would lead to the eradication of the Constitution and non-democratic movements.
