London – British Prime Minister Theresa May tells the House of Commons that the London attacker was British-born and earlier investigated by police for links to violent extremism.
She called him a “peripheral figure.”
“The case is historic. He was not part of the current intelligence picture,” she said. “There was no prior intelligence of his intent or of the plot.”
