30 March 2013-Saranya Mohan who made it big after her appearances in Velayudham, Yaradi Nee Mohini, Eeram and director Suseendhiran 2007 offering – Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (VKK)is part of the Hindi remake of VKK.
After the remake rights were sold off to renowned editor A Muthu who is producing it under Karrm Entertainment banner as Badlapur Boys for Bollywood, the editor turned producer, has jointly fund this project under a Bollywood banner featuring the Mollywood beauty.
However, Saranya’s chase for B town glory, recently turned sour, as she found the experience too hot to handle. Her Hindi debut a remake of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu touted to be a well crafted romantic drama with a good dose of sports and unfulfilled dreams had convinced Saranya to put a strong foot forward, come what may! But, as the shoots proceeded, she grew weaker and sought for intake of liquids frequently . What followed was the least expected!
Presently, stationed in Rajasthan, it is reported that the pretty actress could not withstand the northern heatwaves and collapsed on the sets owing to a severe heatstroke. Badlapur Boys, featuring Nishan as the male lead, is directed by Shailesh. Seeing their leading lady collapse the crew rushed their unconscious damsel to a premier hospital nearby.
