30 March 2013-Not the one to rest on his laurels, Thalaivaar has stunned Oscar winning sound technician Resul Pookutty as he finished off the dubbing for his forthcoming period drama in true Rajini style. Recent reports popped in as Resul Pookutty mentioned on his micro blogging address “Look who is back in action?!1st day dub of Kochadaiyaan, I’m happy to see him hale and healthy as every Rajni fan. It’s unbelievable his dedication and commitment to work, he finished the first half dub in a day?! Now I understand why Rajnikanth is a super star..!!!!”
Echoing similar remarks, Soundarya Rajnikanth, who is directing this project was glad to mention “Hey guys.. Dubbing progressing in good pace. Appa completed first half in a day our thalaivar rocks!!! Hectic work in all departments!!!”
Touted to be yet another milestone in his illustrious career, this Rajnikanth and Deepika Padukone entertainer from Superstar’s dear daughter Soundarya is floating itself as India’s first motion capture film. In addition, it is also the first stereoscopic 3 D animation venture for the nation too.With tunes by Isaipuyal AR Rahman and jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment the producers are eyeing a release date this July.
Meanwhile, a part of the technicians are presently committed towards polishing the rest of the movie in China since March 18th. The movie also features R. Sarath Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Aadi, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nasser.
