KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 – The Barisan Nasional (BN) won 32 of the 43 parliamentary seats declared as of 10.30 pm today in the 13th General Election.
According to the Election Commission, the BN won 24 seats in Sarawak, two in Johor, two in Kuala Lumpur and one seat each in Putrajaya, Perak, Pahang and Labuan.
The DAP won 10 parliamentary seats, five of them in Sarawak, three in Kuala Lumpur and one each in Penang and Perak.
PKR won one parliamentary seat in Sarawak.
