PAPAR (Sabah), July 22 – Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin, who will be ineligible to defend the post of Puteri Umno head because of the age limit factor, said she had yet to decide on contesting any post in Wanita Umno at the Umno elections later this year.
“I have passed the age limit to remain in Puteri Umno,” Rosnah, 41, told reporters after closing a Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) course for contractors, here, Sunday night.
The age limit for Puteri Umno members is 35 and for their leaders, 40. Puteri Umno leaders and members will automatically become Wanita Umno members after they attain that age.
Rosnah, who is Papar MP and deputy works minister, was asked whether she would go for a Wanita Umno post.
