Chennai, Oct 29- Many people thought that there will be difference of opinion, if not rivalry, between veteran composer Harris Jeyaraj and young composer Anirudh, over their shared roles in ‘Irandam Ulagam’ (Telugu: ‘Varna’). While the songs of ‘Irandam Ulagam’ are highly appreciated and enjoyed by all, the background score is a surprise package from Anirudh, as Harris could not offer dates for the background score of Selvaraghavan’s big budget.
The period set movie and audio of ‘Varna’ was launched in Hyderabad yesterday, and the event was attended by all the prominent technicians who worked on the project.
Taking the mic at the event, Harris showered appreciation over Anirudh for the classic background music he has scored for the film, defying all false belief that the two may be at loggerheads. The event saw the launch of a new trailer of ‘Varna’ with Anirudh’s BGM, and we also hear that Anirudh has composed three more songs for the film.
