KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 – Kuala Lumpur City Hall will be relocating traders conducting their business on road shoulders to more orderly business sites, said Deputy Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk M Saravanan(Pic).

He said this was in line with the objective of making Kuala Lumpur an international standard city.

“One of the criteria to become a world class city is that there will be no more hawkers on the street.

The Medan Aneka Hawker Centre was built at a cost of RM220,000 and comes with water and electricity supply for 11 hawkers comprising 10 Indians and one Chinese who have been operating in the area in the last 20 years.
