KUALA LUMPUR, March 15- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the new multi-storey car park at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital mooted by the government will bring much relief to the current overpopulation in the hospital.
“I look forward to seeing many more smiling faces after its completion in January 2015,” Najib said on his Facebook account. He visited the parking space-starved hospital earlier today and insisted that a multi-storey car park be built in what the government wants to be a user-friendly premier hospital of world standard.
Najib wrote he believed that patient happiness was important for a quick recovery. The government, he said, would do its best to ensure “they can always keep a smile on their faces through quality and efficient healthcare”.
“If they smiled the way they did when I visited KL Hospital (today) to open the specialist clinic and ambulatory care centre all the time, we would have a very healthy country indeed,” he added.
The government had allocated RM300 million in Budget 2012 to upgrade the hospital.
