KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 – Umno Youth today launched a campaign called “Gerakan Menolak Pembohongan Pembangkang” (Gempak) to expose the opposition’s lies and slander about the Barisan Nasional (BN).
Its head Khairy Jamaluddin(Pic) said they would compile a list of such doing by the opposition and counter them with proof to the people by disseminating flyers and also through the cyber medium like Facebook, Twitter and e-mail. He told this to reporters after launching the campaign at the Umno headquarters here. Earlier, he had chaired a meeting of BN Youth.
Khairy, who is also the coordinator of the campaign, said he was optimistc that it would have the desired impact to sway fence sitters to the BN. Also present were Umno Youth Deputy head Datuk Razali Ibrahim and MCA Youth head, Datuk Wee Kah Siong.
