KUALA LUMPUR, March 16- The MIC Youth Higher Education Bureau will set up a hotline and counseling service to assist Indian students who sat for the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2012 examination. Its chairman D. Mahaganapathy said the service would assist Indian students in obtaining technical advise on the selection of courses that they are eligible, according to their qualification.

“We will provide guidance to ensure students do not make the wrong choice in the selecting their courses. We also want to make sure as many students are offered places at IPTA,” he told reporters at the MIC headquarters, here, today.

10Mahaganapathy said more than 4,000 Indian students sat for the STPM examination throughout the country while the results would be announced on Monday.  All enquiries can be forwarded to the bureau from Friday via e-mail to higheredu@pemudamic.org or fax to 03-40436100 or contact the bureau at 03- 40431111.
