KUALA LUMPUR, March 16- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today that he will be praying that all Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2012 candidates who will be getting their results on Monday would do well. Najib through his Twitter account also expressed the hope that successful students would not forget the sacrifices and deeds of their parents and teachers.
“STPM results to be announced on Monday. Hope you obtain commendable results. Reciprocate your parents’ sacrifice and remember your teachers’s deeds,” he said.
In 2012, 51,673 candidates sat for the STPM examination at 760 centres in which 47,708 were government school candidates, 1,112 private school candidates, 2,795 private candidates and 58 state government school candidates. On Monday, all candidates will obtain their results at their respective schools from noon while private candidates will receive their results by post.
Candidates can also check their results through SMS by typing STPM RESULT Identity Card No and send it to 15888. The results can also be accessed at the Malaysian Examination Council website at http://www.mpm.edu.my from noon on the same day.
