BANGKOK, March 18 – A tyre of a Thai Airways plane from India exploded while landing at the Suvarnabhumi Airport early Saturday morning, Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted a local media report. All 287 passengers and crew members were evacuated from the twin-engine Airbus 330-300 aircraft that had left Kolkata at 2.48 a.m., the online report said.
The accident took place when the pilots of flight TG314 brought the plane to land at the airport at 6.06am. No other details were available.
