KOCHI (Kerala) March 28 – The Kerala government will launch a seaplane project linking major tourist destinations in the state next month, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported. The project’s first phase will be launched in Ernakulam, Bolgatty, Alapuzha and Thiruvananthapuram, Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar said after inaugurating the Visitor Facilitation Centre (VFC) here Wednesday.
The centre will function as a one-stop shop for all travel and tourism services, which include railway reservation, foreign exchange services, inbound and outbound tourism services. Union Minister of State for Food and Consumer Affairs K V Thomas, who attended the launch, said tourism helps to ensure heritage conservation in the state.
