PETALING JAYA, March 31 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his family had Sunday lunch amongst the public, at a restaurant in a shopping mall here today.
Najib, looking relaxed in a white t-shirt, his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and children Norashman Razak and Nooryana Najwa and her fiancée Daniar Nazarbayev, chose the Little Penang Cafe which offered authentic Penang hawker food.
They ordered Assam laksa, Siam laksa, Aromatic Chicken Set, Penang Hokkien Prawn Mee, iced Milo, cincau and barley, with fruit rojak for dessert.
Their hour-long presence at the restaurant drew a great deal of attention from the shoppers at the mall, who took the opportunity to chat and take photographs with them.
Jumat Kasneh, the waiter who took their order, said he was very excited to serve the Prime Minister and his family.
“The Prime Minister was very friendly with everyone,” said Jumat, who has been with the restaurant for 10 years.
