Don’t put up political flags at electricity poles – TNB

BALING, April 1- Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has issued a stern warning and reminded all political parties to not hang flags on its electricity poles and substations while campaigning for the upcoming 13th General Election. TNB’s Corporate Affairs and Communications Vice President Adelina Iskandar said it was extremely dangerous and TNB will monitor all its poles, substations and surrounding areas to avoid any untoward incidents and wants the cooperation of all parties.

IpohShe was speaking to reporters after handing over keys to a three room house priced at RM34,000 to Mek Bu Isa, 47, in Kampung Carok Kangar, Kupang, here under the TNB’s ‘Baiti Jannati-Rumahku Syurgaku’ programme.  The ceremony was graced by Bayu assemblyman Datuk Azmi Che Husain and Kedah TNB general manager, Suid Othman.

Meanwhile, Mek Bu when met by reporters said she thanked TNB for giving her family a new and comfortable house to stay, compared with her old house which was in a deplorable condition.
