PETALING JAYA, April 4 – The meeting of the top leaderships of the opposition pact on seat allocation for those contesting in the general election will continue tomorrow as the matter has yet to be finalised. The meeting, attended by the top leaderships of PAS, DAP and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), began at 2pm and lasted three hours.
“The (meeting on) seat allocation will continue tomorrow,” PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told reporters after the meeting. PAS secretary-general Datuk Mustapa Ali said the meeting only discussed normal matters.
“We discussed many topics. The question of seats and candidates had not been discussed today,” he said. Yesterday, PKR deputy president and PKR election director, Mohamad Azmin Ali said the issue of seat allocation for the opposition party was 90 per cent finalised.
