TEMERLOH, April 5 – The Pahang MCA liaison committee will publish an MCA bulletin in Chinese, in conjunction with the 13th General Election (GE13). Its chairman, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, said the 32-page bulletin, ‘Pahang Cemerlang’ (Outstanding Pahang) would highlight the latest information in the economic, education, social and development programmes undertaken by the Barisan Nasional (BN).
“For starters, about 50,000 to 60,000 copies will be printed and distributed in every district to provide accurate information to the Chinese community on the development undertaken by the BN government,” he said. Liow, who is also MCA deputy president, said the support of party members was essential to ensure MCA’s win in GE13.
“Everything that can affect the party must be put aside. We have to put the party’s best interests as our priority and learn from our mistakes in the past,” he added.
Liow said the people’s interests would be looked after under the BN government, irrespective of race and religion. In fact, there are many development projects for implementation by the BN government for the people.
