KUALA LUMPUR — Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu will have an audience with the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, today on the state’s political situation following Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s appointment as the 8th Prime Minister.“I will have an audience with Sultan Nazrin today,” he told reporters as he left Muhyiddin’s residence here.
Asked on the status of the state government administration, Ahmad Faizal said all was well.
“Right now it’s okay (no changes) … don’t pray (for changes), (please) pray that I will stay,” he joked.
On the cooperation between Perak Bersatu, UMNO and PAS, Ahmad Faizal said the matter would be discussed and announced later.
