BERA, April 10 – The Barisan Nasional’s (BN) manifesto for the coming 13th general election is for all, including opposition supporters, said Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
“We are not making empty promises, when we say we will give, we will, irrespective of whether they benefit government or opposition supporters.
“So you won’t lose if you give your vote to the BN, the BN’s manifesto is not an empty piece of paper. We will keep our promises over the next five years,” he told reporters after presenting Malaysian Palm Oil Board incentive cheques for replanting to 199 recipients in Felda Bukit Kepayang, Bera here today.
He added that the BN had never neglected the welfare of the people and even those who opposed the government had been given assistance. In BATU PAHAT, Umno Information chief Datuk Ahmad Maslan urged the people not to be duped by the opposition’s claim that the BN had copied their manifestor for GE13.
Speaking to reporters after attending a community function, he said the 17 points outlined in the BN’s manifesto were carefully studied and not an “overnight job”.
