PUTRAJAYA, April 10 – The election process will be conducted as usual in Lahad Datu and Semporna, the sites of the Sulu armed intrusion almost two months ago. Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said the security situation in the two areas was returning to normal.
“The security forces will decided whether additional security measures are needed in the two areas during the polls,” he told reporters after announcing the polling day of the 13th general election.
