Maduro wins Venezuela’s election

CARACAS  – Ruling party candidate Nicolas Maduro won Venezuela’s presidential election on Sunday with 51 percent of votes, the electoral authority said, allowing him to carry forward the socialist policies of the late Hugo Chavez.
