JOHOR BAHARU, April 17 – Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Wee Jeck Seng will defend the Tanjung Piai parliamentary seat in the 13th General Election, polling for which is on May 5.
His name was announced today by Johor Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman at the presentation of documents of candidacy today to three MCA leaders whose names were not in the line-up of Johor BN candidates released yesterday.
The incumbent for the Pekan Nenas state constituency, Tang Nai Soon, is to be fielded to contest the Senai state seat while Johor Wanita MCA chairman Wong You Fong is to stand in Pekan Nenas.
