KUALA PENYU, April 23 – Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates must be disciplined and show good leadership qualities in order to be victorious in the 13th General Election, said Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil. She said the people would judge them on these two fundamental qualities before giving their vote.
“Wherever I go, from Perlis to Kampung Bundu here, everyone loves and believes in the capability of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muyhiddin Yassin who are deeply concerned about the welfare of the people, especially in rural areas,” she while campaigning for BN candidates Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun and Limus Jury in Kampung Bundu, Kuala Penyu here today.
Azizah is seeking to unseat incumbent Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin in the Beaufort parliamentary seat. Also in the fray is Guan Dee Ko Hoi from the Sabah State Reform Party (Star). Limus is representing the BN in the Kuala Penyu state seat which comes under the Beaufort constituency.
