KUALA LUMPUR, MAY 23- PKR vice-president Tian Chua as well as Anything But Umno (ABU) chief Haris Ibrahim, were arrested seperately this afternoon, believed to be over the coming weekend’s anti-electoral fraud rally in Petaling Jaya.
Tian Chua, in a tweet, said he was arrested at the low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) in Kuala Lumpur, just before the security check.
In a second tweet, the Batu MP claimed he was informed that he was detained under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948.
According to PSM secretary-general S Arulchelvan, Haris was picked up by five policemen as he was lunching with friends in Segambut.
Both are believed to be taken to the Jinjang police station.
