JUNE 4- Actress Jiah Khan, who allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her Mumbai residence, was upset since an audition in Hyderabad on Sunday in which she could not do well, her mother has told the police on Tuesday.
According to the mother of the 25-year-old, Jiah had travelled to Hyderabad for an audition. She did not do well in the audition and after coming back she told her mother that she did not feel that her career is moving forward, police sources said.
Police sources, quoting Jiah’s mother, said the actor wanted to switch to interior designing rather than sticking to acting.
Jiah was quite disturbed since the failed audition. She did not meet any outsider after returning from Hyderabad.
The police said that the actor had met her cousin on Monday. Her cousin’s statement has also been recorded. He has said that she looked disturbed but behaved normally.
