JUNE 5- President Mahinda Rajapaksa has ordered the Foreign Minister G.L Pieris to formulate the legal aspects pertaining to the Northern provincial Council.
These instructions had been given after his return from the tour of China.
The first provincial council act was No 2 of 1988 when the Provincial councils were established. In this regard the HE president has to officially inform the Election Commissioner This notice has to be issued to the Election Commissioner by the end of this month.
