IPOH, June 25- East Ipoh Umno Youth and nine non-governmental organisations (NGO) in Perak lodged a police report yesterday against the Black 505 rally organisers.
Sekretariat Hal Ehwal Bandar (SHEB), Perak chairman Syamsul Baharin Putra Ahmad Shibi (photo) who acted as their spokesman said they lodged the report because the rally, allegedly orchestrated by the opposition, had disturbed public order and could have potentially thrown the country into chaos.
“I urge the police to take immediate action against the irresponsible organisers of the Black 505 rally,” he told reporters after lodging the report at the Sungai Senam police station here.
He said the opposition’s action to incite the people with claims that the recent general election had been conducted improperly was unreasonable as they had also won some states in the election.
