JULY 5- Shah Rukh Khan is not pleased about the media hype around his baby son, who was born four weeks premature on May 27 and is reportedly still in a critical condition.
Sources said on Thursday that the baby, who weighed only 1.5 kg at birth, is still admitted in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, contrary to earlier reports that he was out of the woods and had been taken home by the actor.
” This is not the right time to talk about it. We are going to get on the train baby ( referring to his film Chennai Express ) and not talk about my baby. This is very private and personal,” said Khan on Wednesday, at the music launch of his upcoming film.
The remarks came on the same day that Brihanmumgation, bai Municipal Corporation ( BMC) officials paid a second visit to the actor’s residence to look into reports that he and his wife Gauri got a pre- natal sex determination test, which is illegal in India, conducted on the baby. They had earlier visited his house on June 17.
Talking about the investigation, an irritated Khan said: ” It’s sad. I request everybody including the concerned authorities to show the same alacrity in investigating other important things that they should be lending their thoughts to.” The BMC team was not allowed to enter Khan’s residence on Wednesday.
The actor, though, promised that he would talk at length about his baby when the time is right. ” I promise, let the sad part get over; we will talk about it,” he said.
These days, SRK is busy on promotional rounds for Chennai Express.
