KUALA TERENGGANU, July 8- The PAS youth election machinery is ready to help out the party in the Kuala Besut state by-election.
Deputy chief Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Aziz said PAS youth nationwide had been ordered to converge on Kuala Besut during the first half of Ramadan to help the the party candidate.
“Focus will be on the youths in Kuala Besut. We believe that our motto 16-16 will provide a new dimension to politics in this country,” he said at a talk on the glory of Ramadan in the compound of Masjid Jamek Pengadang Baru here today.
The panel comprises PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, Terengganu Pas youth chief Mohd Nor Hamzah and Nik Mohamad Abduh.
Nomination day for Kuala Besut by-election had been fixed for July 12 with polling day on July 24.
