KUALA LUMPUR, July 10- Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia yesterday received a courtesy call from a delegation of parliamentarians from three African countries at his office in Parliament building, here.
The delegation was led by the Speaker of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature of South Africa, Lindiwe Maseko.
The other members of the delegation were Mussa Zunggu, Beatrice Shellukindo and Katherine Kaihula from Tanzania and Request Muntanga from Zambia.
Maseko is the treasurer of the Commonwealth Parliamentarians Association (CPA).
During the 45-minute meeting, Pandikar Amin and his visitors discussed about strengthening diplomatic relations between Malaysia and the three African nations through the CPA, among the topics.
The delegation then watched the Dewan Rakyat sitting before calling on CPA Malaysia chairman, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
The delegation arrived in Malaysia early yesterday and will be here until today.
