KUALA BESUT, July 11 – The weather on nomination day for the by-election for the Kuala Besut State Legislative Assembly seat tomorrow is forecast to be bright and good in the morning.
Malaysian Meteorological Department Director-General Che Gayah Ismail, however, said thunderstorms were expected in the Kuala Besut area in the afternoon and night.
“The thuderstorms in the afternoon can possibly be seen at around 1pm,” she told Bernama, here today.
The Election Commission has fixed tomorrow as nomination day for the Kuala Besut state constituency by-election to be held at the Kg Raja Rakan Muda Complex, here while polling was set for July 24.
Barisan Nasional (BN) has announced local-born Tengku Zaihan Che Ku Abd Rahman, a civil engineer with the Drainage and Irrigation Department, as its candidate while PAS has named Endot@Azlan Yusof, a contractor, as the party’s candidate.
