JULY 11- Choreographer/director Prabhu Deva’s relationship with Nayanthara was much talked about and the couple almost reached the stage of officially getting wedded.
But for reasons known only to them, the duo broke up which further led the Chandramukhi actress to turn to her profession with a lot of vigor that showed in her signing up many films.
Prabhu Deva on his side, switched his place of work to Bollywood and went on to direct Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathore and is currently directing Shruthi Haasan in Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya.
There have been numerous speculations about why the couple broke up, but they have not commented on this till date.
However, in a recent interview Prabhu Deva appeared to have opened up a bit and had apparently said that his split-up with Nayanthara was a decision taken by the Almighty.
He also furthers, “If things go the way we want to, we would feel happy about it, if not, we would resign to the fact that it is God’s will. I have great faith in God. Whatever has happened is for good and there is no point talking about the past”.
