KUALA LUMPUR, July 16- The largest national career event, the Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth Job Fair 2013 which will be held from September 27 to 29 is set to offer more than 30,000 job opportunities with over 300 companies.
BN Youth chairman, and Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar said the fair has managed to secure employment for 160,000 individuals since it was started three years ago.
“This will be BN Youth’s annual contribution to those seeking suitable careers on par with their qualifications,” he said.
He added that the fair would provide guidelines, advisory services and information on various entrepreneurial, training and skills programmes.
‘The fair will also focus on unemployed youth and motivate them with knowledge and skills in various fields,” he said.
In conjunction with the fair, BN Youth would be launching the ‘BN Youth Job Fair App Mobile’ mobile and social media application which may be downloaded free through iTunes, Android or Blackberry.
