KUALA LUMPUR, July 30- AirAsia, the leading and largest low-cost carrier in Asia, is offering 12,000 seats to domestic destinations.
The seats are made available for booking online at www.airasia.com from now until Aug 4 and travel from Aug 20 to Oct 31.
AirAsia said passengers only need to pay the taxes and RM26 for the seats to fly to Alor Setar, Kota Baharu, Johor Baharu, Kuala Terengganu, Langkawi and Penang.
The budget carrier is also running another promotion, which is an all-in-promotional fare for the year-end travel period from Nov 1 to Jan 23, from as low as RM39 one way to both domestic and international destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Guilin, Surabaya, Vientiane and many more.
These fares are available for flights departing from AirAsia hubs in Malaysia such as Penang, Johor Baharu, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, it said in a statement today.
Travellers are encouraged to pre-book their check-in baggage allocation online along with their flight bookings as they are able to save up to 66 per cent as compared to checking-in their bags over the airport, AirAsia added.
