SHAH ALAM, Feb 7- Chief Justice of Malaysia Tun Arifin Zakaria received the Seri Paduka Mahkota Selangor (S.P.M.S) state award from the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Istana Bukit Kayangan here today.
The award which carries the title ‘Datuk Seri’ was in conjunction with the Sultan’s 67th birthday, last year. Sultan Sharafuddin also awarded the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor (D.P.M.S) which carries the title ‘Datuk’ to Armed Forces chief General Tan Sri Zulkifli Zainal Abidin.
Ninety-eight individuals were conferred awards and medals in conjunction with the Sultan’s 67th birthday on Dec 11, 2012.
