MIRI, Aug 20— Astro Radio is mulling the possibility of expanding it coverage in the Asean countries particularly in Kalimantan, Indonesia and Brunei to further enhance it presence in the global broadcasting industry.
Sarawak Astro Radio Content Manager Syazleey Zalysam, or better known as DJ Uno, said at the moment it was in the midst of strengthening the market in East Malaysia after expanding it coverage to Miri City in Sarawak.
“We are looking maybe to expand to Sibu, Sarawak after this but after a thorough market study,” he told reporters when announcing the expansion of Era FM, Hitz FM and MY FM, here today.
For Sabah, he said, Astro Radio had started operation in Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.
The official launching of the Astro Radio expansion in Sarawak will be at a local hotel here this Saturday. — Bernama
