KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22- The Feline Panleukopenia virus targets cats and can spread swiftly to kill them within a week, via loss of appetite, high temperature, fatigue, vomiting and dry nose.
“The virus has no cure. Intensive care is necessary if a cat is infected,” he said when met by Bernama at his clinic here recently.
In the meantime, Ahmad Razeen, 27, advised all cat owners intending to leave their cats at cat care centres to ensure they were properly managed and clean.
He said, the clinic, which he ran with his family, also provided a cat care service, adding that cat owners should not casually transfer their responsibility to the care centre but must inform them of their cats’ diet and their behaviour.
