PUTRAJAYA, Aug 30- The Education Ministry Thursday announced the appointment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) Prof Dr Wahid Omar as the new vice-chancellor.
Wahid’s appointment will be effective from Sept 1 to Aug 31, 2016.
He succeeds Prof Datuk Dr Zaini Ujang who has been appointed secretary-general II of the ministry.
