SEPT 19- Southern superstar Rajinikanth will soon be a part of “Clean Bangalore” campaign of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) if things go as planned by Bangalore Mayor Katte Sathyanarayana.
“We are facing trouble with garbage disposal. The involvement of Rajinikanth and other actors, we believe, would encourage people to keep their locality clean. We will soon extend an invitation to Rajinikanth to be part of the message campaign,” the mayor said. The idea came to Sathyanarayana when he participated in an event organised by Acharya Patashala School where Rajinikanth and Kannada star Upendra had studied.
“I realised that the two could be the best brand ambassadors for the Silicon Valley and making them a part of the campaign would leave more impact on the people.”
“Rajinikanth’s brother has also worked with BBMP. We will soon contact the star and ask him to send a message for keeping the city clean,” he said.
