SEPT 23- For fashion lovers across the globe, shoes are as big a deal in their wardrobe as their clothes.
For some, the shoe obsession tops it all.
While major fashion capitals such as New York and London have already hosted their Spring/ Summer 2013 fashion week, Milan is still in progress.
What’s hogging all attention is the different kinds of shoes seen on the runway- sexy, quirky, edgy and glamorous.
From bright tones to gladiator sandals and accentuated heels, there are styles showcased by popular fashion houses such as Gucci, Prada, DKNY, Just Cavalli, Ralph Lauren, Matthew Williamson and Manolo Blahnik amongst many others.
This season, it is also the heel that has been attracting shoe fanatics.
While many brands have stuck to subtle designs, Herve Leger and Fendi have given an interesting twist to the heel by adding a hint of metal.
Love them or hate them, but the fashion report shows that sneak wedges are here to stay, at least for a while more.
Shoes are the new fashion fad this season.
