BANGKOK, Sept 25- The Thai government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has joined the international community in condemning a recent terrorist attack on a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital, which left at least 60 people dead, Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday that Thailand is outraged by the many deaths and injuries caused by the terrorist attack on Sept 21 at the Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi.
The Thai government strongly condemns the acts of terrorism and wishes to express its deepest condolences to the bereaved families of those who have been killed and to extend its heartfelt sympathy to those wounded in the attack.
The people and the government of Thailand also wishes to express solidarity with the people and government of Kenya during this difficult time.
According to the official statement, Thailand will work with the international community in collective efforts to fight terrorism to maintain international peace and stability.
