SEPT 30 -Ranbir Kapoor is ready to compete with the big guns of Bollywood.
He’s is going to bomb the box office with ‘Besharam’. The movie is going to release in 3,600 screens, more than what Chennai Express used.
The new superstar of Bollywood celebrates his 31st birthday today.
According to sources, Ranbir Kapoor is taking a day off from his work schedule today, and will be in Mumbai. Let’s see how his directors rank him as an actor and a person:
“Ranbir is a Superstar”: Abhinav Singh Kashyap, ‘Besharam’
Ranbir Kapoor is a very fine actor. His specialty is versatility. As an actor, he always tries to experiment in his movies. He is a very good actor and also a very nice human being. He always like to goes with his director’s vision.
He is very calm, cool and supports his director from starting to the end. I spent a lot of time with him during the shooting of ‘Besharam’. The most memorable time with him was during the shoot of ‘Yeh Jawanai Hai Deewani’, for which we went to Udaipur.
He’s constantly giving back-to-back hits and continuing on the path of success steadily. The only thing I would like to say is ‘Ranbir is a superstar and is here to stay and will go strong for coming 20 years’.
“Ranbir is an effortless actor”: Anurag Basu, ‘Barfi’ and ‘Jagga Jasoos’ (Upcoming)
The best thing about Ranbir is that he takes every movie like his first film. He is a very humble human being.
He is down to earth with no starry tantrums. If you work with him you will never feel that you’re with a ‘big’ actor. Ranbir ‘yaron ka yaar hai’. I can say that, in this film industry, I have only 2-3 friends and Ranbir is one of them.
He is an effortless actor and this is his real power.
“Ranbir stands for his directors”: Rajkumar Santoshi, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’
Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented actors of our time. I am well aware of his talent. He is disciplined as an actor, too. Ranbir is ambitious but it is the ambition for excellence not for stardom. Notably, he doesn’t care about money at all.
He craved stardom not to earn money but to be recognized as a good actor. He is a gentleman star and always stands for his directors.
