New Dehli ,November 8 – A 14-year-old girl hanged herself in Bangalore after her Facebook boyfriend rejected her.
According to reports, the youth was a second year BCom student started talking to the girl on Facebook in September this year.
He tried to woo the girl by telling her he could “drive like a Formula One racer and ride his motorcycle like a Hollywood star.”
When the two met, the youth coaxed her into having a physical relationship with him. But when she touched the topic of marriage, he mocked her and took it in jest saying he “hadn’t been serious.”
The teenage girl then commited suicide by hanging herself while her parents were at work.
The boy has been arrested and booked for abetment of suicide and rape.
