Feb 11 – After being banned for almost two weeks, Kamal Haasan’s controversial film Vishwaroopam is raking in millions at the box office.
The film, which released on February 7, has earned Rs.1.2 billion in just four days and is still running to packed houses in Tamil Nadu.
Rahul Bose, who plays an Afghani al Qaeda Jihadi in the film, took to Twitter, to give the good news.
The actor tweeted “Just received figures of the all India box office collections of Vishwaroopam. 120 crores and counting. Superb!”
Vishwaroopam, made at a cost of Rs.960 million, is Kamal Haasan’s most expensive film and has been written, directed and produced by him.
